We’re looking for a sharp, floor-focused leader to join our Revelstoke team as Assistant General Manager. This role calls for high energy, operational savvy, and a passion for delivering standout guest experiences. As AGM, you’ll help lead the day-to-day rhythm of Cantina del Centro—supporting the team, owning service flow, and co-managing bar operations alongside the GM. You’ll lead by example during service, coach staff in real-time, and be the go-to problem solver when things get busy. Whether you’re running food, checking in with guests, or dialling in drink features, you’re in the action, keeping the vibe high and the team moving. It’s a dynamic, hands-on role with real impact and room to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Guest Experience & Service Leadership
- Be a visible, hands-on leader during service – supporting hosts, servers, runners, and bar team
- Perform daily table touches and guest engagement to ensure satisfaction
- Support execution of events, promotions, and reservations planning
- Lead pre-shift briefings, team updates, and guest recognition culture
- Respond to guest feedback (written and verbal) with professionalism and urgency
Team Development & Communication
- Act as an approachable leader for the FOH team, promoting morale and development
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Conduct coaching conversations and provide real-time performance feedback
- Collaborate with GM on scheduling, coverage, and people planning
- Support staff engagement initiatives and team culture-building events
Bar Operations (Shared with GM)
- Co-lead bar operations: ordering, inventory, cleanliness, prep, and staff support
- Collaborate with GM on drink feature creation, promotions, and bar revenue targets
- Ensure bar team is scheduled effectively and aligned with service standards
Operational Support & Admin
- Assist with daily cash outs, reconciliation, supplier ordering, and invoice tracking
- Review daily labour and sales reports; monitor service pacing and sales flow
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health and safety, and internal policies
- Report voids, comps, and promo activity with notes for senior management
- Assist with weekly inventory checks, bar product counts, and loss prevention strategies
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as an AGM, Floor Manager, or Senior Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant or bar
- Strong leadership presence – you thrive in the heart of service and lead with confidence
- Skilled communicator with the ability to build trust and inspire your team
- Experience with inventory, scheduling, and basic financials (labour %, cost controls)
- Knowledge of bar operations, mixology, and guest-forward beverage service
- Calm under pressure, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- A deep passion for hospitality, people, and creating a damn good time
