Alex has been a proud member of the Cantina del Centro family since 2015. First, as a bartender and was then promoted to be the first bar manager of the then young, humble and festive Mexican joint. He helped build a solid foundation for the bar program and set the tone for building a fun, vibrant and drama-free workplace. The Cantina brand was slowly taking shape and the future seemed bright.
Fast track a few years and he is now Operations Manager for the restaurant group. He has helped design and open four more restaurants since then, including two new Cantinas. Always learning and welcoming new challenges that arise, Alex is living proof that perseverance and commitment can take you to the next level in the hospitality industry.

While not at work, the Québec native enjoys spending his time exploring the great BC outdoors with his partner. He also has a passion for cooking at home and producing music.
